Face it Pouch
The Face It Pouch was designed with whimsy. made with wool felt and Ultrasuede. Glass bead embroidery frames his face. This pouch was designed for a Renaissance Faire participant.
Truly a fun pouch with red wool felt and black basket weave patterned UltraSuede. The gold medallion has gold leaves dangling to give that gypsy feel.
Simple and useful this pouch is adorned with a peacock medallion and fresh water pearls. The green wool felt accents against the blue ultrasuede. Very lightweight and yet large enough to hold cellphone and keys and wallet.
Peacock tail purse
using a reproduction purse frame with peacocks on it, I was inspired to make this deep purple purse. A Tiffany lamp image gave me the idea for the tail. Heavily embroidered with glass beads of many shapes.
This base purse is of a faint aqua satin. making it the perfect background for this Mermaid playground. Hand dyed wool felt and UltraSuede make up the background and kelp beads. While glass beads, and shells ad to the scene. Hand enameled metal mermaid was added to play in the kelp.
This was a Steampunk purse that I called the Alice Conundrum, Am I small enough to go through the door but big enough to hold the key in the keyhole., all on a Brown wool felt background with leather, metal and glass beadwork.
Art Nouveau purple necklace
A beautiful piece of wire wrapping from my friend Jill is my inspiration starting point for this lovely piece. Complete with a Kumihimo strand of pale pink glass beads to hang from.
Art Nouveau Fairy
An antique earring is the Fairy in the center of pale gold matte glass beadwork. The strand it hangs from was an experiment in a new stitch.
A Czech glass button surrounded with Shibori dyed ribbon on an aqua wool felt base. This necklace is beaded with glass, metal and pearl accents
An enchanting Fairy door is under the wysteria. Hand dyed venician lace hangs over this enameled and beaded fairy door. All on a cotton velveteen base flap. this is a black velvet purse frame.
Honey Do Purse
100 year old purse frame was used in this reproduction piece. Golden velvet background with glass beaded honeycomb. The brass Bee accent was patina treated to go with the age of the frame

This purse was a challenge from a fellow artist that painted the eye and hand dyed the silk velvet. I designed the purse and did all the sewing and bead embroidery as well as the painting of the metal handle. Loved this challenge. Sold
Snakes, all about the Snakes
The frame for this purse is 100 years old. The background is of black silk. The head and tail of the snake are brass that has been enameled and jewels to match the frame mounted in the eyes. Glass beads were used to create the body of the snack and a red leather tongue added as the accent piece.

Who's that knocking Pin
A steampunk inspired pin. Based on wool felt and ultrasuede, the design is of a doorknob and keyhole with a face starring back at you. Bead embroidery defines the doorknob plaque and the whimsy in this design.
based on a simple and small Thistle button, this pin has short fun fringe to mimic the thistle fluff. Sold.

A fool's doll is Beatrice de 'ol Biddy. Completely needle felted with wool. Her hat has wet felted and she is mounted on a piece of driftwood as a handle. Not for Sale, I use her for my own costume.
